About Us

BSSO celebrates its 10th edition. The first (SSO) was in 2005 in the dunes north of Haarlem and ever since we have been hosted by the magnificent Philharmonie, renamed in PHIL in the centre of Haarlem.

Having organised it 8 times in between Thanksgiving and Christmas with its characteristic atmosphere, Covid urged us to change to early summer in 2023, which proved to have a lot of advantages, especially with an opportunity to celebrate on the beach. Number 10 promises to be a reflection of long-standing quality, camaraderie and lasting relationships over all these years.

Of course, the scientific program set the major tone and has become a benchmark for many OMFS and Orthodontics related conferences and courses and yes, we are proud to see so many copies of this, combined, format which underlines the importance of cooperation, intervision and interaction between the two (and more) specialties.

You are cordially invited to Haarlem, again or for the first time, to enjoy the easy going and friendly atmosphere. We look forward to seeing you.
